Earth & Water / Tissue & Bones
In our bodies, tissues and bones are literally intertwined and go together. Not one without the other. We will take this as a compass to orient our time of practice together.
We will tap into this physical realm to understand more about the elements of water and earth and how we dance with them in CI.
Some related questions:
What does it mean to ‘feel my partner’? How can we use the volume button of our weight? How can we carry while being in motion? How can we connect to the earth while flying? How can we be safe together while falling or transitioning? How can we absorb impact? How can we find gentle strength? And what does it mean to accompany each other?
In this workshop, we will listen deeply, meet gently, play wildly, and practice seriously.

As a facilitator, Mileen likes to create a context in which people can grow in body awareness. She loves a profound yet playful approach, where people can ‘plug in’ to their movement potential and explore layered physical, poetic, and artistic expression.
